Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Albaicín is the oldest neighborhood in Granada. A district that preserves its Andalusian urban framework and a must-visit place while enjoying a pleasant walk with views of the Alhambra.You'll walk through the streets learning about its history – from Granada Zirí to the Christian area of Carlos V. The tour begins in Plaza Isabel La Católica, the Christian area of the neighborhood. You'll go up the Plaza de Santa Inés walking through the streets and small squares until you reach the Mirador de San Nicolás. Your guide will tell you stories about the Albaicín suburb with its Plaza Larga, and you'll stroll through the area of the Alcazaba Cadima (or old fortress) to end at Puerta Elvira.
