The Orsay Museum is closed every Monday, May 1 and December 25. The late opening rate applies on Thursdays, for visits starting at 6pm - the museum closes at 9:45pm - last access at 9pm.. During peak seasons, expect lines at security checkpoints. Please note that your ticket does not provide priority access. In the busiest periods, entry may take longer than usual.. We recommend arriving at the museum at least 2 hours before closing time during peak season, preferably 3 hours, to ensure entry. Ticket valid for one entry only at the indicated date and time. You may stay as long as you like, but cannot leave and reenter the museum.. Large bags are not permitted and luggage of up to 56x45x25 cm may be stored onsite..
