This 2-hour tour, endorsed by the author himself, provides a fascinating insight into the stories and places that inspired him. Recently filmed for new TV series in Oxford is “The Amber Spyglass”, the 3rd book in the “His Dark Materials” trilogy.
This tour will show you from the outside many of the key locations from "Lyra’s Oxford" and the "The Book of Dust" and "His Dark Materials" trilogies including "Amber Spyglass" including ‘Bodley’s Library’, The Covered Market, ‘Jordan College’ and the Pitt Rivers Museum. It will provide a fascinating insight into the stories and places that inspired the world-renowned books.
