After you leave Glasgow, your Oban tour will head west, crossing the Firth of Clyde, where you will pass Dumbarton's famous and imposing rock fortress with its equally impressive castle. You will then reach Inveraray, a quaint town built in the mid-18th century on the shores of Loch Fyne. Here, you can visit Inveraray Castle, the historic home of the Duke of Argyll, nestled in large beautiful gardens overlooking the Loch or you could explore the town and admire its breathtaking views across the loch.Your tour will then climb further north into the Highlands through stunning scenery and passing several castles and beautiful lochs. You'll be able to admire Kilchurn Castle, one of Scotland's most photographed castles before stopping for lunch in the picturesque harbor town of Oban. After a spot of exploring, you'll travel onwards to Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most haunting glens, and then make your way to the last stop on this tour, Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond where you can walk along the shore or stroll around the village.
