Our tour will guide you to some of the oldest and the best, soaking in the historic atmosphere (and the ales) of Covent Garden on a drunken frolic through four centuries of alcoholic history. Over ales, lagers and ciders your guide will enthrall you with tales of duels, romance and adventure… all fueled by liquor. Learn how London’s tastes in drink and entertainment evolved from the rollicking parties of the Restoration through the gin craze of the Georgians to the temperance movement of the Victorian era. On this two and a half hour tour we will visit four famous pubs, stopping for a drink in each.
