"Alexander the Great" Pella-Edessa and wine tasting

We depart for the village of Pella, the birthplace of Alexander the Great, to explore its archaeological site and museum. Excavations at the site have uncovered fascinating artifacts from the ancient city, including exquisitely detailed mosaic pavements, which are displayed in the local museum. Next, we travel to Edessa and visit its renowned park and waterfalls, famous for their natural beauty. Afterward, we continue to Vergina, the ancient capital of the Macedonian Kingdom, where we visit one of Greece's most impressive museums. After some free time for lunch, we explore the museum, home to the royal tomb of King Philip II, Alexander the Great's father. The museum also houses gold and other priceless artifacts of exceptional historical value. Finally, we return to Thessaloniki.
