After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll take a scenic route past the rice fields at Tegallalang towards the 11th-century Gunung Kawi temple. Be stunned by its collection of ‘candi' – Balinese rock-cut shrines. End the tour at the ancient relic of Goa Garba temple. Hidden deep in the jungle on the banks of River Pakerisan, it's said that the temple was once a school and meditation place.
