Know in advance: * The minimum age for participation is 8 years, and the minimum required shoe size is 35 EU (3.5 US) * In order to safely fit the provided specialized glacier crampons, you must have a shoe size between 35-50 EU * Please confirm the pick-up time (and place) directly with the local operator at least 48 hours before your tour. You will find the contact information in the voucher after booking * All glacier and sightseeing trips are undertaken on the responsibility of its participants. The local operator does not assume any responsibility for accidents which are caused by its customers or can be traced to there own actions. Participants may have to sign a waiver before undertaking all trips stating that they realize that all outdoor activities carry an inherent risk Remember to bring: * Please dress appropriately and note that the weather can change quickly. It's recommended to wear warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, head wear and gloves * Sturdy hiking boots with ankle support are mandatory for the glacier hike. Hiking boots, waterproof jackets, and waterproof pants are available to rent at the glacier for a small fee
