Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon and Diamond Beach excursion

The ancient and enormous icebergs breaking off from Vatnajökull glacier into Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon is a unique natural wonder and unforgettable experience to witness. The 1000-1500-year-old ice silently drifts into the lake and slowly melts away and is a spectacular sight. The lagoon covers 18 square kilometers (7 square miles) and reaches more than 248 meters (814 ft) at its deepest point.
