Hike to the wonder world of Látrabjarg

Visit Látrabjarg, one of the most impressive spots in Iceland. This point is the western-most point of Europe and home to the largest bird colony in the Northern Atlantic. Look down the cliff to see the millions of seabirds and try to spot puffins, razorbills, fulmars, guillemots and other species.After admiring the birds, your guide will take you on a hike around the area. Take in the wonderful sceneries of the wild cliffs with the ocean down below and the green land on the other side. Don't worry if you wish to return early, you can always return and create a shorter hike and tour.Back from the hike, you will make your way back to Patreksfjörður. During the ride you will stop at the interesting Heritage Museum in Hnjótur to learn about the history and natives of the area.

* Bird season is from early April to late July * The hike is around 5-6 hours and about 14 km with a 200 m elevation, it is possible to return from the hike whenever you want * Remember to wear comfortable hiking shoes and warm outdoor clothing * It is recommended to bring a small backpack with some snacks and a bottle of water * A minimum age of 6 years is required to participate
