Please note that this tour departs from the Solheimajokull Parking Lot. Distance from Reykjavík appoximately 164 km/101 mi. Minimum age of 8, and minimum shoe size of EUR 35 to ensure crampons fit. Sturdy hiking boots are required (available to rent for a fee if needed). The tour is rated as easy - no prior experience is needed but guests must be able to walk ~3km over uneven terrain
