The tour to the Siena Cathedral and to the marble floor is a great journey through the history of art.
With the visit of the floor then, unveiled until the end of July and then again from August 17 up to October 17, we go to admire fascinating characters featured from Hermes Trismegistus to the Slaughter of the Innocents, passing through the representation of the Sibyls, the Wisdom Mount and the Exodus Stories. This splendid floor unfolds a journey into the history of the Salvation of Humanity which has been articulated through references to the texts of the philosophers and writers of antiquity, as well as to those of the early Christianity authors.
