Discover the Sassi of Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993! You’ll start from the central square of Matera and enjoy a panoramic view of the Sassi. Then, you’ll proceed towards the Civita and the Cathedral.You’ll then arrive in the heart of Sasso Caveoso, whose picturesque caves were the locations of many religious movies such as "The Gospel according to St. Matthew" by Pier Paolo Pasolini to "The Passion" by Mel Gibson but also "007: No time to die". At the end of the tour, you’ll taste some local products.The walk with the guide includes entrance tickets to a 13th century rock church and to an evocative 16th century hypogeum excavated on 3 levels once used as an oil mill and cellar.
