Borges Labyrinth tour with audio guide in Venezia

The tour includes a visit inside the Borges Labyrinth for the first time. It is a one kilometer long path, made with 3200 boxwood plants arranged according to the Randoll Coate design and inspired by the story by Jorge Luis Borges, The garden of paths that fork.The tour, lasting approximately 45 minutes, begins with a visit to the "New Manica Lunga", the ancient Benedictine dormitory transformed into a library center with a renovation by the architect Michele De Lucchi. With over 1400 linear meters of shelving, of which 1000 are open shelves (approximately 100 thousand volumes), the Nuova Manica Lunga today represents the heart of the library complex of the Cini Foundation.The visit then continues with a tour of the labyrinth, accessible for the first time, accompanied by an audio guide with the original soundtrack created for this enchanting place by the composer Antonio Fresa, with the Teatro La Fenice Orchestra.

It is recommended to arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour departure in order to ensure punctuality. How to get there: the Giorgio Cini Foundation is located in Venice on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in the splendid setting of the San Marco Basin, facing the Piazza and Palazzo Ducale. To get there, you can take the Actv 2 Vaporetto with the San Giorgio stop departing from: San Zaccaria (journey time about 3 minutes) - Railway (journey time approximately 45 minutes) - Piazzale Roma (journey time about 40 minutes) - Tronchetto (journey time about 35 minutes)
