You will receive final confirmation via email 1–2 days before the tour. Due to the extremely high visitors’ volume and internal policies, Auschwitz-Birkenau reserves the right to cancel tours or guides at any time, even a few days or hours before the visit. If this happens, you will be informed and if possible, offered an alternative date or program. Departures from Krakow may take place in the following hours: 6.00am - 1.00pm * All visitors are required to pass through security checks before entering the museum grounds * The allowed dimensions of a bag you can take with you are 30x20x10 (A4 size). You will be asked to leave your bigger belongings in the car (they will be locked and supervised by the driver) * Please bear in mind that there are hundreds of tourists visiting the museum every day and keeping your own pace of sightseeing is not possible * Not recommended forchildren aged 14 and under. Please bring your own child seat or child sling when travelling with a child * Students (age 13-26) must have a valid ID * Standard group size in the museum with 1 guide (if not specified in the options) is up to 30 people. For the small group option, it's up to 15 people Remember to bring: * Please, wear comfortable shoes and also take an umbrella or a raincoat as the majority of the tour will take part outside * There is a 15-minute break during the tour**,** remember to bring a sandwich and water with you
