Walking through the most emblematic places for Fado and for “fadistas”, where this music genre became famous, first as the sole of Lisbon but today a whole Portuguese identity. You start at Bairro Alto, where Fado became famous among the high, heading next to Mouraria where, according to the traditions, the first famous fado singer was born: Severa. Next is Alfama where Fado can be heard in every corner and where you will have a delicious Portuguese meal and a live fado show. Silence fado will be sung.
