Canyoning Experience and Furnas Village Tour
The perfect way to spend the day with family or friends, combining an adventurous morning with a relaxing afternoon while discovering some of the island's best experiences: nature, local food, thermal waters, great company, and plenty of fun.Upon arrival, your personal equipment will be provided, followed by a short 15-minute walk to the first safety briefing. You'll then continue uphill, where you'll learn the basic abseiling techniques before reaching the start of the canyon.During the canyoning experience, you can enjoy several optional jumps between 2 and 7 metres, a natural slide, and abseils ranging from 5 to 15 metres. Afterwards, you'll return along the initial trail to the starting point.After the adventure, you'll head to Furnas for a well-deserved lunch featuring the traditional “Cozido das Furnas”. You'll then visit the Caldeiras Vulcânicas to see the fumaroles and hot springs, before choosing to relax in the thermal waters of Parque Terra Nostra or Poça da Dona Beija (entrance tickets not included).
