Important information
Know in advance:
* The tour takes place rain or shine. If the weather/visibility conditions at the top are not good enough to watch the sunset, the locations will be changed to try to get a sunset view. You'll always be taken to Pico do Arieiro unless the road is closed or there is a red alert for weather conditions
* There are no refunds in case of bad weather conditions. If there are sudden weather changes in the mountains, you'll be offered an alternative location
* You'll return 30 minutes after sunset, so please be on time (the driver will always inform you of the departure time from Pico do Arieiro)
* The PR1 walk is optional, only if you wish to do the Stairway to Heaven (PR1 ) portion of the walk
* You can enjoy Pico do Arieiro without the visit to PR1 by exploring many of its other free spots
* The transfer will normally bring you to Pico do Arieiro unless the road is closed or an official red weather alert is in place
* If conditions at the summit are unsuitable, an alternative viewpoint may be used where appropriate
* No refunds are issued due to weather or limited visibility
* The Stairway to Heaven visit is optional and self-guided; the walk spans approximately 2.4 km in total
* The return transfer departs around 30 minutes after sunset, so guests choosing the optional walk must return on time
* Toilets and restaurants at Pico do Arieiro may be closed after 18:00
* Please respect nature, follow park rules, and be considerate of other guests
* Guests should remain reachable by phone in case of delays or operational updates
