Shanga workshop tour from Arusha

Shanga River House is an organization that supports disabled people who make beautiful souvenirs ranging from glass jewelery to fabric products like elephant pillows and bags.They also partner with other local designers/ organizations that help the local community and wildlife. Shanga is an amazing place. People with disabilities, some who might otherwise be tossed away or ignored by society, are empowered through art, and they make some beautiful things on-site using recycled materials.Following a sumptuous hot lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge, you will have the opportunity to see the Shanga workshop and the arts and crafts here created.
