Shared 5-Hour Snorkel Niihau at The Forbidden Island

Kauai Offshore Adventures operates the only raft capable of crossing the channel to Niihau- The Forbidden Island. Niihau has some of the clearest water anywhere in Hawai'i and a variety of sea life that cannot be matched. Our captains will introduce you to the history and geography of the fascinating island before finding a beautiful snorkeling location to set up an anchor and get in the water. Common sights in the waters around Niihau include endangered Hawaiian Monk Seals, Hawaiian Sea Turtles, Tropical Reef Fish, Manta Rays, Small Harmless Sharks, Whale Sharks, Octopus, and everything else that can be imagined. In this winter time, we will also be able to see Humpback Whales in the channel. Guests who book this tour should be comfortable in the ocean and have some familiarity with snorkeling.
