In the vicinity of the hotel is Koldinghus Castle and the lake "Slotssoen".This new hotel offers stylish and modern rooms on three floors. Each floor has a different colour theme highlighting the design aspect of the hotel. The rooms are medium in size offering simple furnishings. All come with a 28" Flatscreen TV, complete with a hook-up slot to allow DVD's to be played from a laptop straight onto the screen, plus Jenson Beds and a Walter Knoll chair. The bathrooms are compact and well designed.A large modern open-planned dining hall with a modern theme of black and white. It has floor to ceiling windows on two sides giving views towards the train station and is the epitome of modern Scandinavian design.From the 30th September 2016 the à la carte restaurant will be closed and breakfast and weekend brunch will be offered only.The hotel is incorporated in a new city development which includes residential units and leisure facilities. It is a mixed medium building using glass, concrete and wood to create a simple but architectural statement.The lobby is minimalist, spacious and representative of the design which can be seen throughout the hotel. There are a number of art installations and chairs to rest tired feet and stimulate the mind.An excellent new hotel which offers style, comfort and an excellent location in the very centre of Denmark. The hotel takes on the position of being the best in town with ease. From the 1st of October 2016 hotel offers fitness room to all of their guests - and free of charge. Highly recommended.
