Plantation Island Resorts famous 9-hole golf course remained unused during the 2-year closure and needs some TLC before returning to the activity schedule. Plantation Island Resort partnered with Dr Austin and the University of South Pacific in 2018 to implement a number of initiatives to foster sustainability and protection of the surrounding waters for generations to come. Along with 2 resident Marine Biologists the Team have been cultivating coral gardens to grow coral for reef restoration projects locally and globally. Other projects include Giant Clam nurseries, seaweed farming and mangrove planting.
