Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel & Cabins--named after nearby springs--offers a warm welcome to summer and winter visitors. The hotel recently underwent major renovations of the public spaces and guest rooms. The hotel as it stands today was built in 1936, while retaining a wing of guest rooms originally built in 1911. Its signature feature is the Map Room, which contains a large wooden map of the U.S. constructed of 15 different wood species from nine countries. Guests enjoy a variety of accommodations, as well as the chance of spotting elk grazing outside the hotel.
