Hotel Des Academies Et Des Arts

Parisian boutique hotel near the Luxembourg Gardens and Montparnasse. The Hôtel Des Academies et des Arts is dedicated to the artistic creation as it is located on the same street in the Montparnasse district where Modigliani had his studio, right in the Parisian center. Facing the hotel is located the well-known Académie de la Grande Chaumière, where artists such as Gauguin, Giacometti used to perform. The hotel owners, Mme Charlotte and Mr Laurent Inchauspé, asked the painter Jérôme Mesnager to paint his famous "white bodies". Moreover, Sophie de Watrigant's sculptures furnish the stairwell. In the exhibit room videos of many artists are played. The hotel has a lounge for the sale of cakes called "Chez Charlotte".
